The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period January 21–27, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).


Wednesday, January 21, 12:03 a.m.Snow Removal: Officers responded to a snow-related issue on Walden Street.

Wednesday, January 21, 6:50 a.m.Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle collision at Commonwealth Avenue and Laws Brook Road resulted in no injuries; officers assisted with paperwork exchange.

Wednesday, January 21, 11:55 a.m.Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle stop on Wheeler Road resulted in a summons issued for revoked registration due to insurance lapse.

Wednesday, January 21, 3:52 p.m.Larceny/Fraud: A caller reported a customer was being scammed into sending money to an out-of-state bank account; a report was filed.

Wednesday, January 21, 7:54 p.m.Disabled Motor Vehicle: A motorist broke down on Route 2 Eastbound near Baker Avenue Extension; vehicle was towed from the scene.

Wednesday, January 21, 9:03 p.m.Welfare Check: A man who had arrived by train sought shelter at a fire station; an officer transported him to a warming station in Cambridge.

Wednesday, January 21, 10:06 p.m.Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle struck part of a tree on Great Road in Acton; Acton Police removed debris from the roadway and filed a report.

Wednesday, January 21, 10:11 p.m.Traffic Complaint: A caller reported an Uber driver operating erratically on Route 2 near Walden Street; the passenger and her children had exited the vehicle and were unharmed.


Thursday, January 22, 3:14 a.m.Parking Complaint: A vehicle on Anson Road was blocking a plow; one parking citation issued.

Thursday, January 22, 3:24 a.m.Parking Complaint: A vehicle on Partridge Lane was blocking a plow; two parking citations issued.

Thursday, January 22, 4:02 a.m.Burglar Alarm: An alarm activated at a building on Baker Avenue; responding officers found doors secure with no sign of forced entry.

Thursday, January 22, 7:16 a.m.Safety Concern: A school bus on Powder Mill Road failed to activate its flashing stop lights while picking up a student; the transportation department was notified.

Thursday, January 22, 11:26 a.m.Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle was found stopped in the rotary area on Elm Street with the operator unresponsive; State Police responded and arranged a tow. No medical response was needed.

Thursday, January 22, 12:58 p.m.Motor Vehicle Crash (Past): A resident on Harrington Avenue reported past damage to a carriage house by a moving company on January 12; officers followed up with the insurance company; no formal report was required.

Thursday, January 22, 3:55 p.m.Suspicious Activity: A caller on Sudbury Road reported someone throwing items into a dumpster and possibly entering a barn; officers responded and filed a report.

Thursday, January 22, 7:38 p.m.Odor Complaint: A resident on Nathan Pratt Drive reported marijuana smoke entering their unit from another unit; an officer responded but detected no odors; a report was filed.


Friday, January 23, 6:06 a.m.Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle broke down on Route 2 Westbound at Main Street; MassDOT and State Police assisted, and the vehicle was towed.

Friday, January 23, 12:00 p.m.Roadway Obstruction: Multiple callers reported hay bales in the roadway on Route 2 Westbound after Walden Street; officers located the bales near mile marker 123.6 and moved them off the road.

Friday, January 23, 1:43 p.m.Soliciting: A resident on Sudbury Road reported an unsolicited door-to-door solicitor; the individual was gone on arrival.

Friday, January 23, 6:05 p.m.Burglar Alarm: An alarm activated on Main Street; unknown cause; building checked secure.

Friday, January 23, 11:57 p.m.Burglar Alarm: An alarm activated on Walden Street; building checked secure; unknown cause.


Saturday, January 24, 5:10 a.m.Suspicious Activity: A resident reported a vehicle circling the Baker Avenue and Adams Road area for approximately 20 minutes; the vehicle was located — the driver was delivering newspapers.

Saturday, January 24, 10:57 a.m.Annoying/Harassing Phone Calls: The Colonial Inn on Monument Square reported multiple harassing calls from an anonymous number; a report was filed.

Saturday, January 24, 12:42 p.m.Burglar Alarm: A residential alarm activated on Old Marlboro Road; confirmed accidental by the homeowner.

Saturday, January 24, 1:08 p.m.Mutual Aid: Concord assisted Maynard Police Department with booking procedures.

Saturday, January 24, 1:55 p.m.Parking Complaint: An illegally parked vehicle on Main Street was creating a traffic hazard; a citation was issued and the vehicle was moved.

Saturday, January 24, 3:32 p.m.Larceny/Fraud: A resident on Hemlock Street reported a credit card was fraudulently opened in their name; a report was filed.

Saturday, January 24, 10:04 p.m.Suspicious Activity: Two individuals were reported running along Route 2 near Baker Avenue Extension; officers checked both directions and found nothing.


Sunday, January 25, 8:39 a.m.Animal Complaint: A dog was reported locked in an unoccupied, non-running vehicle on Walden Street; the vehicle was gone on arrival.

Sunday, January 25, 11:24 a.m.Roadway Obstruction: A tree branch fell onto the roadway on Walden Terrace; branch was found in the cul-de-sac and was not a hazard; public works notified.

Sunday, January 25, 12:47 p.m.Motor Vehicle Crash: A driver reported striking a tree at Pope Road and Spencer Brook Road; a report was filed.

Sunday, January 25, 6:26 p.m.Snow Removal: Vehicles parked on Isaac Davis Road and Adams Road were impeding snow operations; owners were advised and vehicles were moved.


Monday, January 26, 8:54 a.m.Civil Matter: A resident on Nashoba Road reported a neighbor's plowing created a snow wall blocking their driveway; the neighbor agreed to have the plow company return to address it.

Monday, January 26, 10:46 a.m.Property Damage: A resident on Hillside Avenue reported their mailbox was missing, possibly struck by a plow; officers found no pole damage — only the mailbox itself was gone; a report was filed.

Monday, January 26, 11:16 a.m.Snow Removal: A resident on Barretts Mill Road was reported snowblowing into the roadway; the resident was advised and agreed to clear the snow after moving vehicles from the driveway.

Monday, January 26, 2:45 p.m.Civil Matter: A follow-up to the Nashoba Road snow dispute; the plow company returned but did not remove sufficient snow; officers confirmed no obstruction remained and both parties were advised.

Monday, January 26, 5:06 p.m.Animal Complaint: A resident on Brook Trail Road found a dog running loose in the neighborhood; animal control was notified.

Monday, January 26, 11:34 p.m.Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle was found stuck in a snowbank on Barretts Mill Road near College Road; a bystander and public works assisted in freeing the vehicle.
