Concord refines bias incident reporting system for Select Board review
Bias & Hate Incident Reporting Work Group · Meeting of May 19, 2026
Concord Bias & Hate Incident Reporting Work Group finalizes dashboard and presentation. The work group approved a dashboard design that will track incident prevalence by type and measure the town's response effectiveness through metrics including response rate, average response time, closure rate, and pending status. The presentation to the Select Board was refined with language changes (victim to target, help to support/assistance) after input from guests Michael Williams and Naomi Rosenfeld.
Work group members assigned specific tasks: Paul Boehm will seek legal review and refine the presentation; Dan Hart will update the reporting form; Deborah Dorfman will summarize focus group findings; Sandeep Pisharody will finalize the dashboard specification. One June meeting remains before Select Board presentation.
