Concord Housing Authority approves $112,300 bathroom project and laundry upgrades. The board voted unanimously to authorize Executive Director Jennifer Polito to enter into an agreement with Automatic Laundry to replace coin-operated washers and dryers and increase costs from $1.25 to $1.50 per load. The board also approved a $112,300 contract with Varieka Construction for bathroom renovations at Powder Mill Road in a 4-0-1 vote, with board member Edward Larner abstaining.
Chair Stephan Bader and Development Designee Rick Eifler were endorsed as CHA representatives to the MCI Concord Redevelopment Master Planning consultant's stakeholder meetings.
