HIGH SCHOOL -- Concord-Carlisle's boys' and girls' soccer teams both won their first games of the season, according to a student government update given at the Sept. 9 Concord-Carlisle Regional School Committee meeting. Student government also reported that clubs, including the Black Student Union, are organizing this year's "Kicks for Cancer" fundraiser in partnership with the Pathways club, with plans to sell shirts and direct proceeds to the cause; that effort is still being finalized. The update also noted a planned pickleball tournament and a badminton tournament tied to an upcoming early-release day and senior sunrise, though no specific dates were given at the meeting.
