Concord Agriculture Committee plans Ag Day, pursues land preservation

Concord Agriculture Committee moves to protect Peter Spring as agricultural land. During its June 11 meeting at Verrill Farm Pavilion, the committee discussed efforts to preserve the Peter Spring property. Committee member Mary Hartman, representing the Select Board, will attend an evening meeting on the topic, while Brian Cramer from Hutchins Farm volunteered to write an opinion letter for the Bridge supporting long-term protection.

The committee also designated Liza Bemis as Ag Day coordinator and rescheduled Stone Soup to September 20.
