Concord Agriculture Committee plans August spring forum

CONCORD — The Concord Agriculture Committee finalized planning for an August spring forum event. The committee approved March meeting minutes and authorized $200 to Robert Gross for his participation at the Spring Forum on August 12. Members reported spring plantings across local farms, including spinach, kohlrabi, peas, and fava beans.
Liza Bemis was appointed Ag-Day Coordinator. The committee received updates on potential wastewater treatment expansion at Peter Spring and learned that proposed affordable housing at 91B will not proceed.
