Board of Assessors · Meeting of March 3, 2026

Concord Board of Assessors approves five residential abatements and releases overlay funds. The board, chaired by Mera Tilley with members Yanni Tsitsas and Shriram Bharath, unanimously granted five abatement applications totaling over $1.1 million in value reductions while denying 13 others pending Appellate Tax Board cases. Town Assessor Meredith Stone recommended all grants and denials.

The board also unanimously voted to release $909,000 from the town's $3.2 million overlay account to fund fiscal year 2028 revaluation work and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery lot expansion, with CFO Jennifer Barrett noting the account would retain approximately $2.3 million for outstanding cases and exemptions.
