Board of Assessors approves nine property abatement applications
Board of Assessors · Meeting of April 7, 2026
Concord Board of Assessors approves nine property value abatements totaling $787,100. Chair Mera Tilley, Vice-Chair Yanni Tsitsas, and member Arry Charles unanimously voted to grant nine of 19 FY2026 abatement applications reviewed, reducing property assessments by amounts ranging from $27,000 to $285,500 at 355 Garfield Road. The board denied ten applications where assessed values were deemed appropriate, inspection access was refused, or cases were pending before the Appellate Tax Board.
The board encouraged the 24 Rookery Lane applicant to reapply in 2027 when a recent sale could factor into valuations.
