CONCORD — Select Board approves regional dispatch center letter, withdraws Peabody upkeep article. Chair Mark Howell and four members unanimously backed a Letter of Attestation exploring shared emergency services with the Town of Lincoln as host partner, which would grant Concord access to grant opportunities. Emergency Communications Manager Stephen James Johnson presented sustainability and service-quality analysis.
The board also unanimously voted to withdraw the Fiscal Year 2027 Peabody Middle School Upkeep article from the 2026 warrant, which contains 51 articles. Town Manager Kerry Lafleur reported the FY27 Budget and 10-year capital plan will be available online by February 20th, with a new audit team conducting the FY25 town audit expected complete by June.
