Concord Select Board declines to amend antisemitism proclamation despite hours of public comment. After extended discussion, Chair Mark Howell, Paul Boehm, Mary Hartman, Wendy Rovelli, and Cameron McKennitt unanimously chose not to revise the January proclamation adopting the IHRA definition of antisemitism; Howell said he would have rejected the inclusion had he foreseen the controversy, and board members reaffirmed they adopted only the definition, not accompanying examples. The board unanimously approved the MCI Concord Master Plan Committee charge and nominated six residents (John Boynton, Aaron Cusker, Dan Gainsboro, Matt Johnson, Sven Weber, Burton Flint), with McKennitt abstaining on the charge.
CFO Jennifer Barrett reported $3.15 million of Concord's $5.65 million ARPA award spent to date, with all expenditures required complete by December 31, 2026.
