The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period September 9-13, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, September 9, 8:42 a.m. — Lost Property: A resident reported losing his passport; the report was logged to assist with replacement.
Wednesday, September 9, 9:30 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor crash on Concord Turnpike sent one party to be checked for head pain; the patient refused further treatment. A written warning was issued to one operator for failure to use care.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:41 p.m. — Larceny: A store on Walden Street reported two boxes of chocolate and a small bag of chocolate taken by a couple who left in a Buick SUV heading toward Route 2.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:59 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on Oxbow Road reported two unknown women entering the home; police confirmed with Lexington Police that the women were cleaning-company employees who had gone to the wrong town.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:06 p.m. — Alarm: A burglar alarm on Simon Willard Road was checked with the homeowner; no issues found.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:51 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle struck and damaged signage on Old Bedford Road; the responsible vehicle was located at a nearby address on Granite Post Road.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:40 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A stop on Sudbury Road resulted in a criminal complaint issued to the operator for an uninsured motor vehicle, suspended registration, and speeding.
Wednesday, September 9, 5:56 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller reported a young man asking for money and cardboard outside a Main Street convenience store; officers checked the area with negative findings.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:09-8:45 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: Police located the man reported earlier soliciting money on Main Street and transported him to the train station to catch a westbound train.
Wednesday, September 9, 11:33 p.m. — Disabled Vehicle: A vehicle became stuck on train tracks near Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street; MBTA was notified and the vehicle was removed.
Thursday, September 10, 2:20 a.m. — Well-Being Check: Two people in a U-Haul van on Laws Brook Road were checked after a report of repeated horn honking; both were found to be locked out of their residence and checked out okay.
Thursday, September 10, 11:48 a.m. — Fraud: A woman reported fraud involving an account she manages under power of attorney on Walden Street.
Thursday, September 10, 3:42 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller on Commonwealth Avenue reported two men separately approaching people for money over several days, suspected of scamming.
Thursday, September 10, 3:42 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large tree fell across Virginia Road, striking a parked, unoccupied vehicle. The road was closed at Quail Run with assistance from Lincoln Police; Concord's building inspector confirmed the tree did not strike any residence.
Thursday, September 10, 7:48 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A stop near Cambridge Turnpike led to an arrest requested for an unlicensed operator and a lights violation; a licensed operator took possession of the vehicle.
Thursday, September 10, 8:19 p.m. — Hit and Run: A woman reported her vehicle was damaged by a black Jeep that fled the Old Road to Nine Acre Corner parking lot; no plate was obtained.
Friday, September 11, 11:44 a.m. — Fraud: A resident on Lowell Road reported receiving a bad check from a party who has since been unreachable.
Friday, September 11, 12:40 p.m. — Larceny: A high-powered leaf blower was reported stolen from Wheeler Road shortly before the call.
Friday, September 11, 1:46 p.m. — Fraud: A woman on Walden Street reported a local business took payment for goods she never received and has since closed.
Friday, September 11, 3:50 p.m. — Fraud: A man on Everett Street reported his electric bike, described as a grey Hiboy model, stolen; officers checked the area with no findings.
Friday, September 11, 4:31 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A crash near Upland Road and Old Marlboro Road damaged a stop sign; a written warning was issued to one operator for failure to use care.
Friday, September 11, 5:46 p.m. — Fraud: A walk-in reported bank fraud involving multiple accounts.
Friday, September 11, 8:54 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Massachusetts State Police handled a two-vehicle crash reported at the Barretts Mill Road rotary; no injuries reported.
Saturday, September 12, 1:00-1:07 a.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large tree fell on Route 126 southbound near the Concord-Lincoln line, bringing down power lines; the road was closed with no fire or arcing reported.
Saturday, September 12, 11:10 a.m.-12:22 p.m. — Vandalism: Signs associated with a hate group were found posted at the high school entrance, on a Comcast utility box on Stow Street, and on a utility box on Laurel Street. Public Works removed the signage with police assistance; photos were taken for a supplemental report.
Saturday, September 12, 9:30 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A woman reported a past crash on Main Street where a language barrier prevented her from getting the other driver's information; she obtained a license plate.
Saturday, September 12, 4:42 p.m. — Assault: A 911 hang-up from Keyes Road revealed a past assault and battery; the reporting party declined to press charges.
Saturday, September 12, 6:45 p.m. — Lost Property: A resident on Virginia Road reported losing a black bifold wallet containing a Massachusetts ID, bank cards, and a passport card.
Saturday, September 12, 6:58 p.m. — Larceny: A walk-in reported a theft; further details to follow in the officer's report.
Sunday, September 13, 1:22 a.m. — Traffic Complaint: A motorcycle traveling at high speed on Route 2 West was reported to State Police and Acton Police.
