Concord School Committee approves stable quarter-two budget transfers and solar project refinements. The committee voted unanimously to accept FY26 quarter-two budget adjustments totaling $139,906, including a $69,906 McKinney-Vento reimbursement and a $70,000 CASE Collaborative surplus credit, according to Robert Conry, Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations. Jason Bulger of Concord Municipal Light Plant reported the CMS Solar Project has applied for a $1.4 million Green School Works grant and narrowed its focus to rooftop installation while deferring energy storage and canopy components pending further study.
The committee entered executive session to discuss collective bargaining strategy with the Concord Teachers Association.
