Concord Select Board advances $600,000 municipal facilities initiative and resets tax abatement strategy. Chair Mark Howell, Clerk Wendy Rovelli, and members Paul Boehm, Mary Hartman, and Cameron McKennitt unanimously approved the facilities planning allocation for site evaluations and feasibility studies, and voted to accept Town Manager Kerry Lafleur's revised Payment in Lieu of Taxes timeline narrowing focus to private schools and the hospital. The board approved in-person early voting March 26-27 for the March 31 town election and voted affirmatively on 26 warrant articles, deferring final votes on Articles 11, 12, 25, 30, 42, and the Revolutionary War Monument article to the March 23 meeting.
Lafleur reported the smart water meter installation 17 percent complete by fall 2027 and ambulance service transition to advanced life support on track for July 2026 launch.
