CONCORD — Select Board approves sidewalk art decals and cultural appointments. The board unanimously backed the "Art Loop" public art proposal for West Concord and approved the re-appointments of Sue LaChance and Susan Beck to the West Concord Cultural District Committee through May 2029, along with nominations of Laurie O'Neill and Jack Megan to the Concord Cultural Council for the same term. Chair Mark Howell announced the board will schedule a future meeting to clarify whether the town has formally adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism or uses it as a reference tool, and will review open meeting law violation complaints related to the proclamation's development on March 10.
The Town Manager reported approximately 50 projects underway across nine departments, with the Light Plant preparing for April activation of time-of-day rates and the Fire Department targeting July 2026 for Advanced Life Support ambulance service launch.
