Concord Select Board approves $16M bond sale and dissolves tax relief task force. The board unanimously voted to authorize sale of $16,020,000 in General Obligation Municipal Purpose Loan bonds dated May 28, 2026 to Oppenheimer & Co Inc, with final maturity on May 15, 2046, according to Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Barrett. The board also unanimously dissolved the Tax Relief Evaluation Task Force after receiving its final report recommending exploration of state tax exemption law, raising the Senior Means-Tested Exemption asset limit to $500,000, designing an affordable housing pilot program, and limiting the Hugh Cargill Trust Property Tax Relief Fund to eligible applicants under age 65; no vote was taken on the recommendations themselves, with the board recognizing that further analysis of potential impacts is needed before proceeding.
