Select Board and Transportation Advisory Committee hear draft transportation strategy

CONCORD — Select Board and Transportation Advisory Committee held joint meeting to review Draft Concord Transportation Strategy presented by consultant Liza Cohen of Stantec. All TAC members attended, along with Select Board members Mark Howell (Chair), Mary Hartman, Paul Boehm, and Wendy Rovelli. Attendees raised concerns about the plan's treatment of state-controlled Route 2, coordination between pavement and safety projects, and relationship to the developing Climate Action Plan.
Community Development Director Alyssa Sandoval requested written input by end of April; Select Board Chair Howell called for a larger public forum to assess community support before the plan is finalized.
