Concord Seeks Volunteer for Vacant Warner's Pond Committee Seat

CONCORD — Concord's Natural Resources Commission is accepting letters of interest through Aug. 21 for a vacant seat on the Warner's Pond Management Committee, one of the few concrete calls to action from Town Hall as the town moves through a procedural stretch in mid-August.

The Natural Resources Commission said the volunteer role is meant to help improve the ecological health and recreational capacity of Warner's Pond. Residents interested in the seat have until Aug. 21 to submit a letter of interest to the commission.

SCHOOLS

Concord Public Schools posted its 2024-2025 Quality Report for the district and Concord-Carlisle High School, part of what the district calls the "Story of our Schools." The district's calendar shows a Joint School Committee meeting set for Aug. 26, followed by two professional development days on Aug. 27 and 28 before the first day of school on Aug. 31. Separately, the district highlighted a recent segment in which Concord-Carlisle High School students discussed financial literacy education.
