CONCORD — Bias reporting work group prioritizes response, trust over data. Concord's Bias and Hate Incident Reporting Work Group met to discuss a town-wide reporting system for bias and hate incidents, with Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and representatives from the Concord-Carlisle Human Rights Council emphasizing that meaningful response and community trust are more important than data collection alone. Ryan described her office's five-year-old anonymous anti-hate reporting system, which follows up on all submissions.
The work group approved minutes from its prior meeting and scheduled a second community focus group for February 5 at the Concord Public Library to gather input on system design.
