CONCORD — Tax Relief Evaluation Task Force moves forward with report analysis on the Residential Tax Exemption program. Co-chairs Lynn Salinger and Ellen Quackenbush oversaw 912 survey responses and preliminary data work, declining an invitation to appear on the municipal podcast "Civic Concord" until after the report is submitted to the Select Board. The Task Force identified four potential findings, including weak public understanding of the RTE requiring better education and the lack of Massachusetts statutory exemption schemes for homeowners under 65.
