CONCORD — Tax Relief Evaluation Task Force divides on eliminating Concord's residential exemption program. Co-chairs Lynn Salinger and Ellen Quackenbush convened the seven-member task force to finalize its draft report on the RTE, which creates a $3.2 million annual tax shift. Three members support two-to-three-year phase-out conditioned on adopting Clause 41C½ and targeted relief programs; three others back phase-out without making it contingent on those measures; Shannon Sweeney withheld her vote pending further reflection.
The task force deferred its presentation to the Select Board until after Town Meeting.
