CONCORD — Recreation Commission unanimously approves fee increases and cancellation policy changes. The commission approved increases to White Pond membership of $15 to support a staffed parking attendant and operational costs; a 3% increase to Carousel and Childcare programs; and modest increases to Summer Camp weekly rates. The revised cancellation policy raises the general cancellation fee from $25 to $35 and extends the cancellation window from 7 calendar days to 10 business days.
For Summer Camp, the 50% deposit becomes nonrefundable at registration, with remaining fees due by May 1 under a structured refund schedule. The commission also authorized staff to proceed with the Rideout Courts Resurfacing Project, funded through $497,153 in Community Preservation Committee approval, $130,000 in ARPA funds, a $108,847 Town Meeting appropriation, $392,000 in retained Recreation funds, and approximately $529,000 from the Revolving Fund excess.
