Public Ceremonies Committee approves prior minutes, plans Patriot's Day events.

CONCORD — The Public Ceremonies and Celebrations Committee advanced planning for Patriot's Day and the Honored Citizen event. Chair Holly Legault extended the Patriot's Day application deadline from February 27 to March 6. The committee approved minutes from January 7 and discussed a block party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a town contract for the event set for vote next Thursday, and a baseball game at 3 p.m.

Committee member Nick Purinton will obtain sound system quotes. An executive closed session for Honored Citizen selection is scheduled for February 5 at 5:30 p.m., with the regular meeting to follow on February 26 at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
