The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period March 11–17, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, March 11, 12:30 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A motor vehicle was stopped on Concord Turnpike; the operator was issued a written warning for speed and marked-lane violations.
Wednesday, March 11, 9:50 a.m. — Lost Property/Larceny Report: A caller reported her wallet stolen from her school bus while parked on the 5900 block of Main Street; investigation determined a student had taken the wallet and turned it in to the principal at Thoreau School. No criminal charges.
Wednesday, March 11, 2:12 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop/Summons: A motor vehicle stop near Main and Elm Streets resulted in a summons for no inspection sticker, suspended registration, uninsured motor vehicle, and operating after license suspension.
Wednesday, March 11, 2:52 p.m. — Welfare Check: A 911 caller reported a male running toward Route 2 from the Emerson Hospital parking lot on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; hospital security directed the individual to the emergency department, where he checked in without incident.
Wednesday, March 11, 3:01 p.m. — Civil Complaint: A walk-in complaint was filed regarding plowing on the Estabrook Road trail.
Wednesday, March 11, 3:10 p.m. — Welfare Check: Staff at a Commonwealth Avenue business reported a shirtless male who became agitated when asked to leave and walked aggressively toward a staff member before leaving the area. Officers searched Commonwealth Avenue, Gerow Park, the Rotary, and nearby streets; the individual was not located. No charges filed.
Wednesday, March 11, 3:28 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A 911 caller reported a vehicle swerving and cutting off a school bus near Cottage Street on Main Street; the operator was located and advised of the complaint.
Wednesday, March 11, 6:45 p.m. — Suspicious Activity/Larceny Report: A resident of Concord Greene reported her rain-collection chain was missing from the rear of her unit; she observed a woman getting into a gray or pale-blue Subaru wagon in the area.
Wednesday, March 11, 10:19 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: Officers reported suspicious activity at the pump house on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; a report was filed.
Thursday, March 12, 2:39 a.m. — Traffic Signal Malfunction: Railroad crossing gates were found stuck in the down position at Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street; Keolis was notified and responded, and the gates were repaired.
Thursday, March 12, 8:48 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash at Main and Cottage Streets resulted in airbag deployment; fire and EMS responded. The at-fault operator was issued a written warning for a red-light violation.
Thursday, March 12, 11:25 a.m. — Larceny/Fraud: A resident of Laws Brook Road reported receiving a call from someone claiming she had won money — a suspected scam call; no personal information was given to the caller.
Thursday, March 12, 1:23 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A disabled motor vehicle near Walden Pond on Walden Street was moved out of the roadway; a tow was called.
Thursday, March 12, 1:25 p.m. — Parking Violation: A vehicle was reported blocking a fire hydrant at the Beede Center on Walden Street; two parking citations were issued.
Thursday, March 12, 1:29 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor crash with no injuries was reported in the Baker Avenue Extension parking lot.
Thursday, March 12, 1:36 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle was reported struck while parked and unoccupied in the Baker Avenue Extension lot; minor damage noted.
Thursday, March 12, 1:33 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop/Summons: A motor vehicle stop at Main Street and Staffordshire Lane resulted in a summons for unlicensed operation and no front plate against a New Hampshire operator.
Thursday, March 12, 3:13 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A crash near Walden Street resulted in a citation for failure to signal; fire and EMS responded and cleared.
Thursday, March 12, 6:54 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A school bus was involved in a crash on Route 2 westbound at Main Street with no reported injuries and no passengers aboard; Massachusetts State Police handled the report.
Thursday, March 12, 7:11 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash on Route 2 westbound at Sudbury Road involved airbag deployment in one vehicle; fire and EMS responded. Massachusetts State Police handled the report.
Friday, March 13, 2:29 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash/Serious Injury: A 911 caller reported a male — wet and cold — near the Route 2 rotary area at Union Turnpike and Elm Street following a single-vehicle rollover on Route 2 westbound. One patient was transported by ambulance with ALS to Lahey Hospital; Massachusetts State Police handled the crash report.
Friday, March 13, 11:23 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: Staff at a Walden Street business reported a male asking unusual questions; the individual left without incident but was located by officers nearby and advised not to return to the business.
Friday, March 13, 2:41 p.m. — Road Hazard: A sinkhole was reported at a storm drain on Lexington Road; the area was coned off pending repair.
Friday, March 13, 5:58 p.m. — Dog Complaint: A stray dog reported running unattended on Barretts Mill Road was returned to its owner's residence.
Friday, March 13, 5:06 p.m. — Dog Complaint/Found Animal: A found black-and-white terrier was reported near Main Street and Florio Drive; Animal Control was notified.
Saturday, March 14, 1:45 a.m. — Arrest/Operating Under the Influence of Liquor: An officer stopped a vehicle on Route 2 westbound at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; the operator failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. The operator refused a breath test; the refusal was entered at Lincoln Police Department using their Breathalyzer terminal. Bail was set at personal recognizance. Saturday, March 14, 10:49 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor crash with no injuries was reported in the Rideout Field parking lot on Conant Street; contact information was left on the other vehicle.
Saturday, March 14, 2:07 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash near Main Street was investigated; the at-fault operator was issued a written warning for failure to use care.
Saturday, March 14, 1:58 p.m. — Soliciting/Bylaw: A Belknap Street resident reported a male on a scooter leaving landscaping fliers; the individual was later identified and advised of the town's soliciting bylaw.
Saturday, March 14, 6:40 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud: A Riverdale Road resident reported being scammed online and charged twice for taxes; the resident was advised to contact their bank and cancel affected cards.
Sunday, March 15, 9:26 a.m. — Suspicious Activity/Abandoned Vehicle: An apparently abandoned motorcycle with a revoked insurance registration was found at the West Concord Train Depot on Commonwealth Avenue; Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Police were notified and will follow up, as the motorcycle was confirmed to be on MBTA property.
Sunday, March 15, 3:41 p.m. — Traffic Signal Outage: A red traffic signal beacon was reported out at Main Street and Baker Avenue; Concord Municipal Light Plant (CMLP) was notified for repair.
Sunday, March 15, 5:57 p.m. — Dog Bite: A caller reported being bitten by a dog on Fitchburg Turnpike, sustaining a wound to the back of the right knee that required two stitches; Animal Control was notified and will follow up.
