Natural Resources Commission approves conservation fund bylaw with Select Board consultation.
Natural Resources Commission · Meeting of January 7, 2026
CONCORD — Natural Resources Commission unanimously approves conservation fund bylaw with Select Board consultation. Chair Sarah Grimwood and Commissioners Bill Kemeza, Jim Smith, Ed Nardi, and Ben Niehaus backed the measure, which requires consultation before land acquisitions but stops short of granting the Select Board veto authority. Natural Resources Director Delia Kaye said the Community Preservation Committee is expected to vote January 13 on a $500,000 application to seed the fund.
The commission also unanimously issued permits and certificates for projects on Monument Street and Musterfield Road, and continued a subdivision road notice of intent to January 28.
