CONCORD — MCI Concord Master Plan Committee elects Co-Chairs, tables minutes on development vision. Dan Gainsboro and Wendy Rovelli were unanimously appointed as Co-Chairs, and the Committee agreed to rotate the Clerk position alphabetically. The Committee tabled approval of April 24 minutes to incorporate Gainsboro's amendment emphasizing a "compelling mix of uses" for the development.
Alyssa Sandoval, Community Development Director, outlined the Design Charette Week starting May 25, led by Stantec, noting the State Earmark funding must be spent by June 30, 2026. A critical unresolved issue remains the lack of a definitive housing unit target from the state, with numbers ranging from 350 to over 1,000 units.
