Light Board · Meeting of September 23, 2026
Concord Light Board voted unanimously to adjust power cost adjustment rates over five years to recover $6.2 million in underpayment caused by an accounting error in system loss calculations, adding $6.74 monthly to average residential bills. Director Jason Bulger reported that 5,588 customers in the Time-of-Day rate program saved approximately $78,000 collectively over six months, primarily because the old inclining block rate structure was eliminated rather than due to the Time-of-Day rates themselves. Peak-period usage declined 0.1 kilowatt-hour per hour.
