CONCORD — Library Committee approves prior meeting minutes and receives FY27 budget update. Director Emily Smith reported the draft budget, within Finance Committee guidelines, includes funding for Sunday library hours and a modest materials increase; the library is certified for FY26 after meeting all state reporting requirements. Smith and committee member Scott Akehurst-Moore announced Danielle Bradley as the 2026 Writer in Residence, with a public reception January 22.
Assistant Curator Jessie Hopper presented the William Munroe Special Collections, featuring Henry David Thoreau surveys and a Louisa May Alcott manuscript.
