Land Use Working Group subcommittee advances draft report to full committee.

Land Use Working Group · Meeting of January 30, 2026

CONCORD — The Land Use Working Group Public Works Subcommittee reviewed a draft report on preliminary town land use strategies, with members acknowledging the document represents only the opening phase of analysis potentially spanning several years. Subcommittee chair Linda Miller, members Rob Almeida and Matt Boger, and Public Works Director Alan Cathcart discussed next steps: consolidating this subcommittee's findings with reports from Public Safety and Municipal Consolidation subcommittees for presentation to the Select Board, followed by additional staff and consultant review. Mr.

Almeida will present the Public Works report to the full Land Use Working Group on February 6. An incoming resident raised concerns about wetlands mapping, noise regulation compliance, and the buildable envelope for the Peabody School site under Article 97 restrictions.
