Concord Land Use Working Group approves final planning report. The eight-member group unanimously approved its final recommendations July 13, advancing the establishment of a Long-Term Capital Plan Committee with elevated priority status. Members noted the Planning Board currently focuses on development review rather than 10- to 20-year strategic planning.

Town Manager Kerry Lafleur indicated the Select Board may consider a Permanent Building Committee to consolidate work now handled by three separate committees. The report recommends Select Board initiatives to restore long-range planning capacity.
