CONCORD — Joint School Committees approve $40.9M FY27 budget with Concord declining 1.47% and Carlisle rising 8.62%. Assistant Superintendent Robert Conry reported the budget reflects reduced health insurance premium estimates and over $90,000 in projected state revenue gains; committees cut $267,000 from Carlisle's initial request after the district shifted capital funding strategy to focus on specific FY27 projects. Committees also approved policies GBEBC, JJE, and KBE on second reading and heard METCO program updates showing 51 students in honors classes, 7 in AP, and 100% college acceptance.
