CONCORD — Hanscom Field commission sends letter to Massport on ICE concerns. The Hanscom Field Advisory Commission voted unanimously to direct a letter to Massport Deputy Chief Legal Counsel Michelle Kalowski, expressing frustration that previous meetings have not yielded concrete action on immigration-enforcement flights at the airport. HFAC members Terri Ackerman and Terrence Parker co-authored the letter, urging Massport to implement specific measures addressing community and safety concerns.
Meanwhile, Massport reported that night operations at Hanscom Field increased 8.3 percent in May 2026, rising to 234 flights between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. from 216 in May 2025.
