CONCORD — Hanscom Field Advisory Commission approves April minutes and hears taxiway construction timeline. Massport project managers Stephen Flecchia and Eli Bahrevar briefed the commission on the Taxiway E project, set to begin August 1st on the west side with 41 days of work, including 1,000 truck trips and weekend runway closures from 10:00 p.m. Friday through 2:00 p.m.
Sunday for five weekends. The east side comprises a 21-day mill-and-overlay beginning August 17th with approximately 600 truck trips. Massport also reported daytime flight operations increased 9.8 percent in April 2026 versus April 2025, with jet operations up 4.1 percent.
The commission voted 5-0 to send a letter to Governor Healey on ICE-related matters.
