CONCORD — Hanscom Field Advisory Commission heard JSX commercial passenger service plans beginning January 2027. JSX plans Part 135 public charter flights to New York City, Miami, and South Florida using 30-seat Embraer aircraft, starting with four daily New York round trips and seasonal Florida service through May and October-May. Commission members questioned the carrier about carbon emissions, noise, and passenger parking; JSX said it does not transport ICE detainees.
Massport reported July 2026 operations rose 16.4 percent compared to July 2025; August operations fell 2 percent. Modeled Civilian Departure Noise Exposure was 107.7 decibels in July and 107.5 in August. The commission agreed to review noise reports every other month instead of monthly.
