Crews to inspect sewer lines in four Concord areas
Concord Public Works has hired EST Inc. to run camera inspections of sanitary sewer lines in parts of town starting Oct. 21, with work expected to last 5 to 6 weeks and cause some traffic delays.
Concord Public Works announced Oct. 20 that the town has again contracted with EST Inc. of Needham to conduct camera inspections of sanitary sewer lines as part of the 2026-2027 Inflow and Infiltration Program. The program investigates how storm water enters the town's sanitary sewer system.
The inspections will target Subareas 5, 6, 7 and 8, which are shown on a map included with the announcement.
The contractor is scheduled to begin the camera work on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026. Crews will work Monday through Friday, typically between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The work is expected to take 5 to 6 weeks, weather permitting.
The town asked residents to use caution when traveling in the work areas, noting that some traffic delays are expected.
Questions about the project can be directed to the Water & Sewer Division at 978-318-3250.
