Concord250 Executive Committee · Meeting of February 4, 2026

Concord250 Executive Committee authorizes $31,000 in spring event funding while punting Revolutionary War memorial decision. The panel approved six discrete grants: $1,000 for a Scout House DAR flag design contest, $4,000 to the Concord Women's Chorus for a recording project, $4,500 to the Concord Museum for a Revolutionary Legacies display, $2,600 for a Paul Revere Bike Ride fundraiser, $5,000 to the Concord Free Public Library for art acquisition, and $13,780 to CCM for piano placement around town. Chris Johnson abstained from the CCM vote.

On a permanent Revolutionary War memorial proposal proposed for Monument Square, the committee declined to formally endorse or reject, citing funding constraints and pending warrant article language now headed to the Select Board.
