CONCORD — The Concord250 Executive Committee unanimously approved $40,000 funding for a commemorative book documenting April 19, 2025 anniversary events. Chair Chris Johnson reported the committee's remaining budget line items will transfer to the Permanent Celebration and Commemoration Committee, with $60,000 in the gift account earmarked for trees and $85,000 total remaining across accounts. Diane Proctor will oversee the book project alongside Ed Feather and Sherry Litwack, drawing on photographs from local archives, the Massachusetts Minute Men and Militia Heritage Park, and the town Museums.

Two funding votes — one for reprinting a poetry booklet and another for outdoor musical performances along the Sudbury River — were deferred because they were not on the originally posted agenda.
