Concord250 Arts Subcommittee approves prior minutes, reviews funded projects.

Concord250 Arts Subcommittee · Meeting of February 11, 2026

Concord's 250th Arts Subcommittee approved prior minutes and reviewed six funded projects advancing toward spring launches. Glenn Mitchell's Poetry Project will hold readings May 3; Sara Seng reported Pianos on the Town will launch May 30 with six to eight pianos already sourced and a call to local artists forthcoming. Margot Kimball updated the committee on the Lantern Parade and Party scheduled for March 7, with five workshops remaining.

The subcommittee discussed expanding its mission to celebrate America's 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, with Sherry Litwack noting the Town Archives holds an original 1776 broadsheet of the Declaration of Independence in its Special Collections vault.
