Concord Cultural Council adopts new mission statement for district.

Concord Cultural Council unanimously adopts new mission statement emphasizing arts and culture as drivers of creativity, economic vitality, and community cohesion. Chair Tooey Rogers oversaw the Zoom meeting with nine members present on March 19. Scribe Barbara Ewen reported that a grants press release has circulated through The Concord Bridge, Living Concord, and Concord Patch, with posters by Mimi Graney to be distributed throughout Concord and West Concord.

The Pianos on the Town project has been approved pending designs and locations; Pride Rainbow decals approved by the Historic District Commission will display on Main Street for one month. Treasurer Anita Tekle and Graney updated the grant application to serve both new projects and enhancements, with enhancement applicants able to skip three questions.
