Concord-Carlisle School Committee unanimously finalized policies governing seclusion, harassment, and medication administration and approved operating protocols with one dissent. Chair Brian Waterson led adoption of the 2026-2027 protocols, which enhanced METCO representation and required administrative inquiries to route through the Superintendent and Committee Chairs. Michael Williams voted against the protocols.
Superintendent Dr. Laurie Hunter's Department of Justice-mandated harassment policy amendment was unanimously approved on first reading. The committee also unanimously approved the CCHS Student Activity Accounts Review for fiscal year 2027, with administration directed to close dormant accounts and reallocate funds, including a transfer of $5,000 to a new Student Experience Account.
