Concord DEI Commission scheduled its diversity survey results presentation for October 15 and planned autumn community events. Chair Andrea Foncerrada is consulting with survey consultant Alison [last name] to review preliminary findings, which will be presented to Commission members at noon October 15, followed by a public presentation at the October Community Coffee at 4:30 PM. The Commission planned a November 12 program on "Understanding the American Muslim" with Petra Al-Sufi of the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding and a December Privilege Walk coordinated by member Jimi Two Feathers.
The Commission nominated Marla Iyasere to fill a vacant seat with Select Board appointment expected September 28.
