Climate panel approves minutes, advances plan update

Climate Action Committee · Meeting of February 11, 2026

Concord climate panel advances action plan update with consultants. The Climate Action Committee unanimously approved January meeting minutes and assigned members to review climate actions by sector as part of a 12-month update to the 2020 Climate Action Plan. Consultants Cassidy Yates and William Lefebvre of Weston & Sampson will lead the effort with public meetings planned for May and September.

The committee also received a presentation from Concord Municipal Light Plant on new time-of-day electricity rates launching April 1, which will charge higher rates during peak hours (3-7 p.m. weekdays) and lower rates during off-peak periods.
