Climate Action Committee · Meeting of September 16, 2026

Concord Climate Action Committee reviewed draft resilience plan actions at its September meeting. Chair Brad Dye and members directed revisions to consultant Weston & Sampson's draft Climate Action and Resilience Plan, specifically on residential building electrification strategies, mobility priorities, and natural resources approaches. Fran Cummings pushed for a more substantial heat pump adoption campaign to meet 2030 emissions targets, with further discussion scheduled for October 5.

The committee removed a deer population action from the plan and rebalanced the mobility section to emphasize the comprehensive transportation plan.
