Concord Board of Health rejects two housing appeals, cites limited authority. The Board voted unanimously to take no action on appeals from Katherine Kershaw challenging health inspections of her units at the Concord Housing Authority. Public Health Director Melanie Dineen testified that inspections found no chronic or active moisture under state Sanitary Code standards, and Town Counsel Kristen Gagalis noted the state code contains no specific mold standards.

The Board unanimously nominated Dottie Bernard as its next Chair. Kershaw indicated plans to pursue court action regarding one unit.
