Concord Bias and Hate Work Group finalizes four-part intake form and multi-channel reporting system. Members Deborah Dorfman, Paul Boehm, and Agnes Lubega-Kalisa approved a framework enabling online, phone, and in-person reporting with language access and disability accommodations, following three community focus groups that revealed underreporting, confidentiality concerns, and distrust among residents. The system will integrate reporting intake with individual support services, data analysis, and coordination with police, the Middlesex District Attorney, and schools.
The group will benchmark existing systems in Sudbury, Acton, and Belmont before finalizing design by May 1.
