Agriculture Committee · Meeting of January 8, 2026
Concord Agriculture Committee focuses on farmland preservation and farmer housing. The committee authorized a letter to the Land Use Working Group calling for preservation of Peter Spring Field, authored by Brian Cramer of Hutchins Farm, citing the town's agricultural heritage and critical habitat for the endangered Blanding's turtle. Stone Soup has donated substantially to a housing foundation project at Barret's Mill Farm and is offering agricultural grants.
